Glad you are asking the right questions early enough. We have seen a number of MSMEs fail for numerous reasons, hence why we are here for you. Some of the challenges that can seem overwhelming for start-ups include; Shortage of capital and cash flow, having a good business plan, coming up with a great product or services, working more than you expected, getting through the frustrations of being constantly rejected by customers, hiring good employees, having to wear so many hats and managing your time, maintaining some kind of work/life balance. At Cellente, we take off a huge chunk of the standard business challenge by reducing your workload in the following areas: brand activation deployment, brand communication, marketing strategy and strategic partnerships. This way, you can concentrate on operations and growth.
If you are experiencing any of the above-mentioned challenges outside our scope of operations, we can connect you directly to some of our trusted business partners in finance, human resources, insurance and technology, among other sectors, to help. Send us an email info@thecellente.com , we will love to work with you.
We recommend you start a business that you are passionate about, (it will do you no good to build a business you will dread waking up to everyday) and has the potential to cause meaningful improvements in users’ lives as well as grow into something big in a reasonable time frame. It is also important that this business idea is not capital intensive especially if you do not have major financiers willing to invest. Most importantly, it is wise to start a business you have some experience in or have done extensive research and training for.
Many start-up entrepreneurs fall victim to a number of avoidable mistakes that can mar the business before it takes off or in the long run without realizing it soon enough.
Inability of the entrepreneur to do proper research and feasibility study of the new business idea, starting with inadequate capital or no budget for the business, thinking that success will come quickly, poor quality of the product or service, underestimating the importance of sales and marketing, not adapting or iterating quickly enough to external factors and economic trends that affect a business, lack of understanding of the competitive landscape, ignoring legal and contract matters, hiring the wrong employees, wrong pricing of the product or service.
Ideas are a dime a dozen, it is the actual implementation of an idea that is more important. If it’s truly unique, get a patent for it with the appropriate regulatory body for patent registration in the country you reside or hope to start off a business idea. You may get some protection through copyright, trade secret programs, or NDA’s, but not a lot.
